Tim Herpin is CBO at Santa Ana Bio with over 20 years of business development experience in biotech and pharmaceutical companies. He headed business development for the infectious disease and vaccine franchise at J&J during the Covid 19 pandemic. He also spent seven years at AstraZeneca and eleven years in Bristol Myers Squibb in various business development roles. On the biotech side, he was the CBO of Caribou Biosciences, a CRISPR gene editing company. Before his business development career, Tim worked as a medicinal chemist at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Aventis and Pharmacopeia.

Tim grew up in Paris and is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique in France. He holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from University College London and an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern.
