Neil is the Chief Business Officer of Santa Ana Bio. Neil brings over 20 years of experience in the biotech industry in corporate strategy and business development execution, closing a wide variety of transactions including in- and out-licensing deals, research collaborations and M&A transactions.

He was previously Chief Business Officer at Boundless Bio where he helped advance the company through a Series C financing and IPO, and led the close of multiple clinical combination agreements with large pharma to enable multiple clinical oncology programs.

Prior to Boundless Bio, he served as Chief Business Officer at Cidara Therapeutics where he led strategic initiatives that resulted in transformational partnerships, including both product and platform deals, with Janssen Pharmaceuticals and MundiPharma. Previous roles also include Managing Director of Clarity Point Partners, Vice President of Corporate Development at Trius Therapeutics where he led the corporate partnering initiatives that resulted in the Asia-Pacific and emerging markets strategic partnership with Bayer Healthcare, and ultimately, the acquisition by Cubist Pharmaceuticals, as well as leading roles at Emerging Growth Capital Pty, Avanir Pharmaceuticals, Ionis Pharmaceuticals. and Neurogen.

Neil holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, an M.S. in the biomedical sciences from the University of New Mexico Medical School and a B.S. in biology from George Washington University.
