Danny Wells is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Santa Ana Bio, where he leads the genomic immunology platform. His expertise is at the intersection of human immunology, high throughput genomics, and machine learning. Prior to joining Santa Ana, Danny was Co-Founder and SVP of Strategic Research at Immunai, where he lead early discovery. Prior to Immunai, Danny was the founding data scientist at the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. An internationally recognized scientist, Danny has published dozens of papers in journals such as Nature, Nature Medicine and Cell.

Originally from Southern Oregon, Danny has a BS in Mathematics from Carleton College, a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern, and completed postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley.
